The Narcissistisc GBT3 Chatbot
Artexhibition ‘Translating Trauma’ sponsored by Slots & Kulturstyrelsen.
Mirabelle Jones, as a curator, asked me to join their exhibition at the Captive Portal. In collaboration with them, we made a framework for the exhibition of how AI traumatizes minorities.
I made two art pieces:
1. The Narcissistic Dictionary GBT3 Chatbot. In collaboration with Mirabelle Jones and Chigozie Nri, I have trained a narcissistic dictionary chatbot with GBT3 and Davinci. It’s the first of its kind ever made in Danish. The aim is to illuminate the strategy of mental violence and to create greater awareness of the traits of narcissism and narcissistic psychopathy, as well as the manipulation methods of personality disorder and the antisocial personality structure. For this, I used artificial intelligence to create a narcissistic chatbot. I created a data sheet to train the GBT3 Chatbot based on empirical material from people who have dealt with narcissists, Tine Siff Terkelsen’s book Narcissitens Drejebog, and an article.
I point out that I did not make this dictionary to diagnose people with narcissistic or narcissistic psychopathic traits. Only clinical psychologists and psychiatrists can and must do this. The focus was on teaching you to see through the malicious psychological gaslighting manipulation so that you become even better at knowing what bad behavior is, notice the red flags of when someone mistreats you, and when it is best to leave a relationship altogether.
Due to the severity of the psychological manipulation techniques that people with narcissistic personality disorder and people with antisocial personality structure (psychopathy) use, the narcissistic dictionary Chatbot is not released publicly for ethical reasons.
2. The Flying Monkeys. I researched and found that narcissists’ close allies are called Flying Monkeys. They spread lies to maintain the narcissist’s false reality. I purchased Flying monkeys toy slingshots. I made a circle where the audience could take the position/role of the narcissist and send off a Flying monkey against a mirror.
Besides that I:
- Coined the name of the exhibition ‘Translating Trauma’.
- Made posters.
- Printed visual material.
- Designed, conceptualized, and set up my part of the exhibition.
- Made graphics with educational material on narcissistic traits and strategies, e.g., Flying Monkeys, cognitive dissonance, and smear campaigns. 3D printed a wolf’s head in shiny black PLA.
